We only collect data that you explicitly provide when creating budgets or importing csv records. This includes:
- Account Information: Your profile name, estimated income, and custom currency defaults.
- Budget & Envelopes: Your configurations, targets, saving goals, and debt sequences.
- Transaction History: Descriptions, category assignments, and uploaded receipt photo assets.
2. How We Store and Protect Your Info
Security is not an afterthought — it is built directly into our code. All transactions and details are stored locally on your device or synchronised using secure database pipelines.
AuraBudget uses state-of-the-art secure TLS protocols for transit, and assets like receipt images are cryptographically encoded to protect sensitive billing records from unauthorized exposure.
3. Your Data Rights
We believe in complete ownership of digital footprints. Under legal regulations (including GDPR & CCPA), you hold absolute control to:
- Download a JSON backup of all budgets, ledger records, and files from your Settings panel.
- Purge all local storage and database copies securely in one click, leaving no server footprint.
